Privacy
We want your attention because the work is useful—not because your data is being traded behind the scenes.
What we collect
When you join a newsletter or request a guide, we collect the email address you provide, the consent statement and time attached to the request, the first and most recent page and form where you subscribed, limited campaign parameters, and any optional topic preference you choose.
Limited first-party measurement
To understand whether the publication is useful, we record a small set of first-party interaction events such as page views, scroll depth, form starts, accepted subscription requests, and clicks to our products. A random identifier persists only for the life of your browser session; that identifier is sent with the limited events and stored in our publishing database so events from one session can be counted together.
When you follow a link to a product we own, we may add a separate opaque click ID to that link. The product may return that ID if the visit results in a trial, subscription, or purchase, together with the product, outcome, time, transaction value where applicable, and an opaque provider event ID used only to prevent duplicate recording. This lets us measure aggregate reader-to-customer performance without sending an email address or your browsing history in the link.
We do not store an external referring domain in this event stream, use it for cross-site behavioral advertising, or set an advertising cookie. Measurement and attribution records, including the provider event ID, are removed after 180 days during normal operation. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we do not create these interaction events or add the product click ID.
Why we collect it
We use this information to deliver requested content, honor subscription choices, operate and improve the publication, understand aggregate conversion performance, and communicate about relevant Next for Humanity work and products.
Storage and providers
Subscription requests and lifecycle events are stored in our publishing infrastructure and may be synchronized with an email service provider for confirmation, delivery, suppression, and unsubscribe handling. We will name that provider here before public email delivery begins.
Your choices
Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe route. We retain a suppression record when needed to avoid emailing an address that opted out. You may also request access, correction, or deletion by emailing privacy@nextforhumanity.com.
What we do not do
We do not sell subscriber email addresses. If we publish sponsored, affiliate, or house-product content, we label that relationship where it can be seen.
